Geological Map of Dominica Island
-West Indies

This project presents the Geology delineation of Dominica Island, located in West Indies.

 

Employing advanced geo-topology analysis techniques; the spatial errors, including discrepancies in dirty areas, points, lines and polygon were identified and addressed.

This work also showcases some foundational GIS tools and methodologies adopted ranging from:

​ESRI ArcGIS Pro, Georeferencing, Ground control points, Feature Classes, Geodatabase management, Digitizing, Geo-Topology analysis, Autocomplete Polygon, Symbology, Attribute table, Cartography etc.

This project not only highlights the geological features of Dominica but also demonstrates the application of essential GIS tools and techniques for professional and accurate mapping.
